Privacy.

The short version — the applications ArtivicoLab publishes are private by default. Some run entirely in your browser. Newer ones use your own Google Sheet as the backend, so the lab never sees your data. The specifics for artivicolab.com itself are below.

What we collect on this site

artivicolab.com uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Analytics uses cookies to count unique visitors and referrers. We do not receive names, emails, or any personally identifying information from Analytics.

Screenshots of some listed applications are fetched on demand from the WordPress mShots service (s.wp.com/mshots). Loading a page here means your browser also makes a request to that service.

The contact form

The form on the contact page is handled by FormSubmit. When you submit it, your name, email address, and message are forwarded to the lab's inbox. FormSubmit handles the delivery — see their privacy policy for how they process submissions. We use the information only to reply to your inquiry.

Applications listed in the gallery

Each application linked from the gallery is a separate site with its own privacy behavior. The lab ships two shapes of application:

Browser-only apps. AdCalc, Foolscap, Hookline, Pressdown, InvoiceMaster, ProxForm, PricePrint, Lingala, Number Lab, and others run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter leaves your device. There is no server, no account, and no analytics on those apps.

Bring-your-own-Sheet apps. A newer pattern — used by Life Planner and future planner-style tools — treats your own Google Sheet as the backend. The lab's app is only the interface. Your data is written to a spreadsheet you own, in your Google account, under your Google Drive permissions. The lab has no server that stores your entries and no way to read them. If you stop using the app, your data stays in your Sheet; delete the Sheet and the data is gone. Google's own privacy terms cover how Google stores the Sheet.

Directory apps. GA Spas, GA Contractors, GA Lawyers, and GA Pawns list public business information. Browsing them stays anonymous.

Cookies

The only cookies set by artivicolab.com are Google Analytics measurement cookies. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. Turning off cookies (or using a browser like Brave or an ad-blocker) opts you out of analytics — the site continues to work.

Data retention & your rights

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond to them. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks, you can request that we delete a message you sent us — email the lab via the contact page and reference the original message.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Material changes will also be noted on the homepage for a short window.
